THE BASICS:- This is an RP blog for Shockwave from The Transformers.

- This blog is private. I will only RP with mutuals, but that doesn't mean you can't follow and interact with me OOC.

- I have been writing Shockwave for over 10 years now. Every now and again, I may post things that are from my fics. If you're interested in reading my series, you can find it on my AO3 <3.MY VERSION OF SHOCKWAVE:
- There are some things that will be specific to my version of Shockwave and how I write him. I write Shockwave as a loyal Decepticon towards Megatron's original goal. I do not write him as chaotic like some continuations do. He is calm, collected and well presented. His goal will always be to preserve Cybertron, no matter the cost.
- My Shockwave will always be voiced by Corey Burton (the original G1 and TFA voice actor).
- Unless I am writing in TFA, then Shockwave's optic is yellow, not red, I will update my icons to match this.
- Empurata and shadowplay are not always canon parts of Shockwave's background unless I am specifically writing in the IDW verse.
- Please note that Shockwave is a LOT smarter than little ol' me. There is no way I can do his intelligence justice, and I am very aware of that. I will generally skip over details of science that I don't know in a vague manner that means Shockwave understands it, but unless you write a fellow scientist muse, challenging Shockwave's smarts is a bad idea.VERSES:

- I am happy to partake in crossovers, so long as I am familiar with the world.TRIGGERS:
- I am open to rping most things. Generally speaking, you needn’t tag anything IC for me. However, I do ask that you tag drunk ooc posts with something along the lines of ‘cw/tw alcohol’.
- As someone who has overcome depression, I am not a therapist and I will avoid muses who are constantly depressed and put pressure on my muse to always make them happy. Rp is a happy place for me to escape, not to struggle through depression again. Also, the likelihood of Shockwave showing compassion is pretty rare...
- If you have a trigger, please feel free to let me know so I can tag it specifically for you!
- Due to the nature of the world I write in, this blog may contain gore, violence, death, drug mentions, sexual references and profanity. Mentions of hate crimes, phobias and racism may also be present due to the nature of the world. I however do not condone any such behaviour.
